Summary

  • GENERAL SUMMARY
    • The Research Assistant participates as a member of the Mental Health Research Team and is responsible for supporting clinical research studies. Requires strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Reports to team leadership.

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Participates in participant enrollment and screening.
    • Coordinates and organizes participant tracking. 
    • Coordinates equipment and supplies.
    • Assists with onsite and remote study monitoring. 
    • Prepares materials for participant data collection, visits, or assessments.
    • Assists with data collection and management.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
    • IRB (Institutional Review Board) certification in human subject’s protection required, or must be completed within 30 days of hire. 

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Associate’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related ?eld required.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 2 years of experience in research setting preferred.
    • Knowledge of procedures governing clinical research preferred.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills, strong computer abilities, ability to analyze and problem solve independently.  
    • Working knowledge or ability to learn data and statistical programs including excel, REDCAP, and SPSS. 
  • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
