Summary

  • GENERAL SUMMARY
    • The Call Center Representative is responsible for marketing the hospital’s services to potential clients through telephone inquiries. Reports to the Call Center Manager. 
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Provides inbound and outbound customer service communication utilizing complex telecommunication equipment.
    • Facilitates referral of callers to appropriate health care providers.
    • Facilitates, identifies and responds to code situations.
    • Performs multifaceted administrative, clerical assignments for the call center.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
    • None required
  • MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • At least one year in a related field. 
    • Must have excellent telephone skills and computer skills. 
    • Excellent skills in oral and written communication.
    • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of hospital staff and the community.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
