GENERAL SUMMARY
-
The Call Center Representative is responsible for marketing the hospital’s services to potential clients through telephone inquiries. Reports to the Call Center Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provides inbound and outbound customer service communication utilizing complex telecommunication equipment.

Facilitates referral of callers to appropriate health care providers.
-
Facilitates, identifies and responds to code situations.
-
Performs multifaceted administrative, clerical assignments for the call center.

Performs other duties as assigned.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

None required

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-
At least one year in a related field.

Must have excellent telephone skills and computer skills.

Excellent skills in oral and written communication.
-
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of hospital staff and the community.

WORKING CONDITIONS
-
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
